Recently, an embryologist from Vitagene Farms (Pakistan) visited the headquarters of Biorocks for hands-on training on the automated embryo vitrification, warming and loading system. The visiting expert operated the equipment personally. She highly appreciated the standardization and repeatability of the full automated workflow, and expressed optimistic views on the prospect of this technology for adoption in commercial IVF laboratories worldwide.

From June 22 to 26, 2026, Biorocks attended the 20th International Congress on Animal Reproduction (ICAR), where its automated embryo solutions received strong recognition from industry peers. The event also offered valuable insight into global demand and the future direction of animal reproduction technologies.

The 20th International Congress on Animal Reproduction (ICAR 2026) will take place in Obihiro, Hokkaido, Japan, from June 22 to 26, 2026. Biorocks will present its automated embryo vitrification solution and explore how automation can support more efficient and consistent breeding programs.

For highly sensitive IVP embryos, the Biorocks system delivered strong in-vitro development performance and achieved conception rates comparable to fresh embryos under commercial farm conditions. By standardizing the vitrification workflow, the system helps reduce dependence on highly specialized operators and makes consistent, high-value outcomes more accessible to breeding operations.

Organized by Pegasus Tech Ventures, the Startup World Cup is a global startup pitch competition spanning more than 100 countries and regions. Dr. Dong Wang presented Biorocks' independently developed Automated Embryo Vitrification System at the 2025 Hong Kong Regional, where it was named runner-up.

A recent study from Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital reported results obtained with the Biorocks Automated Vitrification System for the cryopreservation of human and mouse embryos. The work was published in the peer-reviewed journal Reproductive BioMedicine Online.
